Bacon Hill Church Garage Sale Fundraiser

Date: Saturday, May 11th from 9am – 2pm RAIN or SHINE

Garage and bake sale!

This is the Gansevoort town-wide garage sale weekend – we are on the map!

This year we will open up our sale to anybody to participate – so bring a neighbor or friend and their stuff! No charge for the table – we only ask for a donation of your choice.

How it will work:

  • Fill out the registration form below.
  • You will be assigned an area – a table will be set up or you can bring your own.
  • Bring your items in, mark them and sell them!
  • Everything brought in must be taken home after the sale has ended.
  • Please make a donation of your choice to the church before you leave – see Julie or Becky; receipts will be available as well. Donations will go towards maintaining our beautiful church – which includes roof repairs/replacement.
  • Set up will be Friday, May 10 – tents and tables; you can bring your items that evening or very early Sunday morning. We will also be looking for volunteers to help set up and take down tents and tables – thank you in advance!
  • You can bring your own tables, pop-up tents, etc if you wish.

Bake Sale: Pies! Pies! Pies! Last year people asked for pies so we would like to give them pies! You probably are a little weary of making pies right now and we won’t ask again until a year from now! If you can donate pies, please bring them to church Friday or by 9am Saturday morning. Any kind is greatly appreciated!

Info and Reminder:

  • You will need to remove any leftover sales items form the church property that day.
  • Please bring your own cash/bank/change; also bags, boxes, etc.
  • Please make a donation of your choice to the church before you leave – see Julie or Becky.
  • Receipts will be available on the church letterhead for tax purposes if you would like one; this donation will also appear on your annual Giving Statement.
  • If you have a large piece of furniture that you cannot bring to church, take a picture of it and have it displayed for interested parties.
  • Donations will be used in maintaining our beautiful church.
  • This will be held rain or shine.
